Staining of aluminium
For the best results of anodising technology, we dye aluminium. We propose such a solution mainly to improve the aesthetics of the product. In addition, the resulting layer:
- improves optical properties (aluminium dyeing black),
- can be used for traceability of parts (wide range of colours),
- increases the effect of thermal radiation (heat sinks).
The dyeing of aluminium is based primarily on the dye’s diffusion into the film channels and adsorption on the walls. The activity is carried out in a particular water solution with a specific pH value and temperature. The process is crowned with a seal, which increases corrosion resistance and improves the durability and quality of the coloured surface.
The colouring of aluminium is a possible additional treatment performed after the anodising process. Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience, we can offer a wide range of colours: yellow, orange, gold, red, burgundy, brown, blue, green, black, turquoise, purple, titanium. At the customer’s request, it is possible to extend the colour offer.
The thickness of the anodic coating on which details can be dyed ranges from 5 to 120 micrometres.
Details for anodising made of aluminium with a minimum amount of alloying additives (PA0, PA1, PA2) are covered with intense colours. In contrast, aluminium with high admixtures of silicon, copper, manganese are covered with a less intense colour with a grey matte shade (PA6, PA7, PA33, PA47), PA9).
