Antibacterial coatings
ABAC layers are microbiologically active nanocomposite anode coatings on aluminium alloys. They are formed as a result of the electrodeposition of silver or gold particles in the anode layer. As a result of this process, the anode layers have strong antimicrobial properties. Antibacterial aBAC layers are dedicated to applications with a risk of spreading pathogenic microorganisms, such as door handles, handles, handrails, elements of small urban architecture and others.
Research on the implementation of the aBAC layer production technology is carried out under the Regional Operational Program of the Śląskie Voivodeship for 2014-2020 (European Regional Development Fund) for the Priority Axis: I. Modern economy for the measure: 1.2. Research, development and innovation in enterprises, application number WND-RPSL.01.02.00-24-009C / 19-005.
